Terms of Membership

1. Who can join

The Circle Ibadan is a strictly 18+ private social community. By applying you confirm you are 18 or older, that your information is true, and that you agree to our Community Rules.

2. Application & approval

All applications are reviewed by our committee. Approval is at our sole discretion. We may decline or revoke membership at any time, with or without reason, where conduct, safety or community fit is at stake.

3. Membership fee

The men's membership is a one-time fee of ₦50,000 for lifetime access. Women's membership is currently free after approval. Fees are quoted in Nigerian Naira and processed through our payment partner.

4. Refund policy

The ₦50,000 fee is fully refundable within 14 days of payment if you have not yet attended an event or accessed members-only spaces. After 14 days, or once you have attended any event, the fee is non-refundable. To request a refund, email hello@thecircleibadan.fun.

5. Conduct rules

Members agree to behave with respect at all times. The following are not tolerated and will result in immediate termination without refund: harassment, unwanted advances, hate speech, sharing other members' private information, recording or photographing people without consent, illegal substances at events, or any conduct that endangers others.

6. Events & attendance

RSVPs are required for most events. Addresses are shared only with confirmed attendees. We may refuse entry at the door at our discretion. You attend events at your own risk.

7. Content you post

You retain ownership of content (posts, comments, photos) you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to host and display it within The Circle Ibadan. We may remove any content that breaches these terms.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your membership for breach of these terms or the Community Rules. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to your membership is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months. We are not liable for the conduct of other members.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Oyo State.
